And she eats!!!!

Another breakthrough and this one is HUGE!! Ever since we got Chloe we have not been able to get her to eat ANYTHING..except 2 of her fingers...this morning at breakfast we put some mushed bananas in front of her high chair and everytime we would try to touch them she would whine (she thought we were going to try and feed them to her) and earned the self explanitory nickname "bottle thrower" by the Bostas. Well back to the good news, tonight Chloe FINALLY decided to let me put a bottle to her mouth and then it was like a little lightbulb clicked on inside of her head and she started drinking the formula and pedialyte!! It was incredible, we were sooo happy, then mom mixed up some rice cereal with applesauce babyfood and when we gave it to Chloe she pretty much wanted to inhale it...it was great because we knew she hadn't eaten anything for 2 days so she had to be hungry! Great night! Tomorrow we are off to do some sightseeing and i think going to a Buddist Temple or something..we will be sightseeing from 21st until 24th!! So enjoy the pics of Chloe's first bottle and first feeding!!

We about started crying when she ate...it was a great moment with such relief!

I think her face says it all.."Im happy to be eating!!" and we were too! Mom is feeding her some rice cereal and applesauce babyfood and im feeding her pedialyte which is like liquid gold!!)

This is also a "comfort" thing for her. The more comfortable she becomes around her new family, the more she is going to allow you in to "her" world... oh, and just so you know, it is her world! Your just visiting! LOL

Gracie wouldn't let us do things for her for the longest time... I think it may have something to do with the fact that they had to do so much for themselves that they are not used to someone giving them full attention 24/7. There are still days when I give Gracie her "bedtime" bottle that she won't let me hold it... but most of the time she pushes my hand away and then SHE takes it back and places it on the bottle.... like, here mom, let it be known that I am the one who allowed this. LOL

Glad things are going well... have fun!!

YAY! She eats! Scary, huh? When they refuse to it. She didn't cry when you received her, maybe not eating is her grieving? Glad she's chowing down now! She doesn't look under nourished, so I figured she must be a good eater!!!
